Your romantic NYC itinerary

  • Morning

Your romantic day in New York starts off with breakfast at the popular Blue Box Café by Tiffany & Co. YES: Since 2017, you can officially have “breakfast at Tiffany’s”. Isn’t that every girl’s dream? The Blue Box Café is located close to the  Southeastern corner of Central Park.

Securing reservations can be a little tricky. Here’s how it works: Reservations will open 30 days in advance at 9 a.m. EST. As time slots fill up within minutes, make sure to be on the official website and ready to book before 9 a.m.

After breakfast, your next stop will be Central Park. Before heading there though, we recommend walking along 56th Street to also pass the New York LOVE sculpture (corner of W 55th St & 6th Ave) on your journey. It’s the perfect photo backdrop for a quick couple’s picture. The destination of your romantic walk in Central Park is Bow Bridge – one of the most photogenic spots in the entire park. You’ll surely recognize the bridge from many movie scenes. Bow Bridge is also one of the greatest locations in New York for proposals and wedding photos.

If you’re in New York during the winter months, you should head to the Wollman Ice Rink on your way back towards the city. The Wollman ice rink is one of the largest, and also one of the best ice skating rinks in New York. It’s open from October through March. During any other month of the year, you can either rent a bike or even a boat at The Loeb Boathouse Boat Rental.

  • Afternoon

After your fun experience on the ice or the water, you’ll probably be craving some delicious lunch. The closest subway stop is located conveniently close to Wollman Rink. At 57 Street Subway Station, get on line Q and take it to 23rd St. Your next destination? EATALY at the Flatiron – an Italian food market, where you’ll find anything your tummy may desire: pizza, pasta, wine, pastries, chocolate, coffee and much more. However, for dessert, you could also head over to the new Nutella Café. The 10-minute walk will help you digest and get ready for dessert!

The last attraction on your romantic day in NYC is a true highlight: The iconic Empire State Building. The two of you will ascent to the viewing platform on the 86th floor and watch the sun go down over New York’s concrete jungle, leaving you with the illuminated city at night. An experience you’ll never forget!

  • Evening

You can then toast the end of an eventful, romantic day at one of the best rooftop bars in NYC. As you’ll be coming from the Empire State Building, there’ll be plenty of bar options. Our recommendation is 230 Fifth. It’s about a 5-minute walk, back towards EATALY. After having enjoyed the amazing view from the Empire State Building, you’ll now have an amazing and unobstructed view of the Empire State Building!
