Sweet Chick has four locations in New York: two in Brooklyn, one in Queens and one in Manhattan. We typically find ourselves at Sweet Chick in Manhattan’s Lower East Side, because that’s simply where we discovered it! The restaurant can be found at 178 Ludlow Street, right across the street from Black Tap and only a few steps away from Katz’s Delicatessen. It is a cozy restaurant with a Southern kitchen feel. To get there take subway line F to 2nd Ave.

Food at Sweet Chick

At Sweet Chick NYC, you choose the chicken and waffles you like. Every order comes with two pieces of chicken. I personally prefer the classic chicken with the apple cinnamon waffles. That’s basically dinner and dessert combined! However, they also have amazing and seasonal specials, like the apple cider glazed chicken and pumpkin pistachio waffles. Simply take a look at the back wall of the restaurant before putting in your order. All in all, Sweet Chick serves delicious chicken just as it should be – crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside.

Do not underestimate the Nashville Hot Chicken – it’s spicy!

Service and Pricing at Sweet Chick

The service at Sweet Chick is very quick and our waiter was super enthusiastic and accommodating.

With a price of about $20 a meal, it is not going to be your cheapest lunch or dinner, but it’s going to be a great one for sure. With the check, you’ll also get a Sweet Chick NYC sticker and a postcard – great scrapbook material!
