Boqueria SoHo
Spanish Restaurant in SoHoOur HighlightAdd to myNY addedOne of our highlights is the Boqueria in SoHo. We have walked past it 100 times and have not noticed it at all. Then it was recommended to us during a conversation and what can we say: it is really really good! We had to wait almost 30 minutes until we had two of the coveted seats. Both Tino and I would describe ourselves as Spain connoisseurs, so we were all the more surprised at HOW good the tapas were here. Took us right back to our summer vacations!

Socarrat
Spanish Restaurant in ChelseaAdd to myNY addedDo something different for Thanksgiving in NYC this year and put a Spanish twist on your meal. Socarrat Paella Bar will be open from 1 pm until 9 pm for indoor and outdoor dining or takeout.
They are offering a special menu that costs $68 per person and comes with Thanksgiving Paella made from mushroom sofrito, roasted turkey breast, confit turkey leg, chorizo, piquillo peppers, butternut squash, crispy brussels sprouts, sweet potatoes, and homemade cranberry sauce. If after all of that you want dessert, they will have cinnamon sugar churros or pumpkin cheesecake.

Tia Pol
Spanish Restaurant in ChelseaAdd to myNY addedThe Tia Pol is totally inconspicuous from the outside, but it has it all! We became aware of it by chance, because we had some time and desire to eat something small before our boat tour. The spot became famous for its sangria from the barrel (!), it is much much better than it sounds! The tapas are fancy, typically Spanish and you are definitely among New Yorkers here. Wonderful!
