To Kill a Mockingbird tell the story of Atticus Finch, a small-town lawyer, through the eyes of his daughter Scout. The family lives in Alabama during the 1930s, a state heavily marked by racial injustice. When Tom Robinson, a black man, gets falsely accused of raping a girl, Atticus Finch decides to represent him in court. This choice entails consequences for the entire family. They get attacked for taking the side of the black man. Atticus, however, has a strong sense of justice and does not give up. Will he be able to get Tom Robinson acquitted?
