The Hudson Yards Observation Deck named “Edge” and is open to the public since March 11. It’s a huge project which happens to cost about 25 billion dollars. It started in 2005 and is the most expensive project in American history so far. Hudson Yards is a new business and commercial district in Midtown Manhattan and construction for this enormous project is almost finished.

NEW: Both the Sightseeing Flex Pass and the Sightseeing Day Pass include tickets for the Edge and the Vessel starting March 11.

But Hudson Yards doesn’t just have office buildings it was also designed to attract visitors as well. In addition to the shopping center, The Shops at Hudson Yards, a Spanish food market, and many really great restaurants, the tallest outdoor viewing platform in the western hemisphere was built. Views will be endless and will definitely give the Top of the Rock, Empire State Building and One World Trade some competition.

The Sightseeing Pass is currently the only New York attraction pass to include admission to the Edge. If you are a pass holder, your ticket is already covered and you do not need to book a ticket in advance.

There are two different types of tickets available. You can purchase a regular admission ticket, where you have to enter Edge at a specific date and time, or you can purchase flex tickets to be able to go at a specific date but are flexible with the time.
