Park Slope is one of the most popular neighborhoods in Brooklyn and has a diverse selection of stores and restaurants such as the Bogota Latin Bistro. This restaurant offers an amazing vibe, wonderful festive decorations and a menu with an abundant amount of choices that’s inspired by Colombian and other Latin cuisines.

The Vibe at Bogota Latin Bistro in Brooklyn

You’ll notice the bright red sign from down the street and you become fixated to it. As you enter you’ll notice the festive atmosphere with yellow, blue and red tones scattered all over the restaurant. The place is pretty big as well. There’s seating in front of the restaurant and a lot more tables in the back. Decorative lights are hung on the ceiling to finish off the vibe. The staff greeted us as we entered through the door and took care of us right away.

Our Lunch

Bogota Latin Bistro in Brooklyn has a pretty big menu and offer brunch, lunch and dinner. We stopped by for lunch and could not wait to try out their food. For appetizers we had plantains served with chicken, chipotle sauce and crema. For our entrees we ordered their Arroz Con Pollo which is a classic. It’s essentially chicken with rice served with avocado and beans. We also had their “Daisy’s Eggs” which is baked eggs with Colombian chorizo, avocado, jack cheese, spicy tomato sauce and crema served in a skillet and comes with a pomegranate salad.

For dessert we had their dessert sampler. Just an FYI, we recommend ordering this if there are three or more people in your party. It’s a lot of sugar for only two people. We learned the hard way, but it was amazing. If you want to learn more about their menu please click here.
