This is one of the most fun museums in NYC for kids right now. It’s an interactive museum that will make you question your sense of reality with optical illusions. The museum guarantees a great time, lots of laughter, and the funniest photos. The exhibits will stimulate your cognitive abilities in a way that it will be hard for you to believe your eyes.

Where is the Museum of Illusions located?

The Museum of Illusions is located in the West Village, close to the Meatpacking District in Manhattan. The address is 77 8th Avenue. You can get there by using the subway lines A, C, E, or L to 14 St/ 8 Av.

When is the museum open?

  • Monday – Thursday: 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM
  • Friday – Sunday: 10:00 AM to 11:00 PM

Is the Museum of Illusions worth a visit?

In my opinion, this museum is definitely worth a visit, especially if you’re in New York City with children. Although the museum is not too big you will have a great time here and take some really cool pictures to show your friends and family.

My favorite part was the Infinity Room. It’s a room full of mirrors where it looks like there are more copies of you than one. I was here just before Halloween and everything was decorated accordingly. The atmosphere in the Infinity Room was really great!
