Why We Love Jacob’s Pickles

First off the ambience of Jacob’s Pickles in the Upper West Side is very welcoming. The staff is very accommodating and friendly. Jacob’s Pickles is an ideal spot for brunch during the weekend. The menu ranges from breakfast to dinner and has an abundant amount of choices.
One of the reasons why we love this restaurant is that everything is homemade. We mean everything. That includes their pickles. Here, you can choose from hot, sweet or sour pickles. In addition, there’s everything that is typical to southern inspired comfort food. We’re talking about biscuits, fried chicken, pancakes, mac and cheese and much more.
The cocktails are great and the beer selection is also really impressive. We were at Jacob’s Pickles relatively early in the morning, so it wasn’t crowded yet. We were told that during the weekends the waiting time can be up to 2 hours.
