Upper East Cafe

The Upper East Side has a lot to offer. There’s great shopping, it’s in close proximity to Central Park, and lots of worthwhile restaurants and cafes. This is when we discovered Upper East Cafe.

We recommend this cafe for breakfast or lunch and is a great spot to stop and take a break during your shopping trip on the Upper East Side.

Upper East Cafe: Our Breakfast

At 10:00 in the morning, the Upper East Cafe was already pretty busy. There were some tourists, some business people and some typical Upper East Side ladies who were chic and well-dressed. Here, you can experience much of the Upper East Side vibe that makes the area so special.

If you enter a restaurant in a neighborhood like this, you should be aware that an omelette can cost as much as $18. It can be very expensive. So, does it taste like an $18 omelette? Not really. However, our “Greek and Healthy” omelette did taste good. The highlight of the cafe were definitely the pancakes.

If you don’t mind spending a little more so you can experience a bit of the Upper East Side, you should come for lunch or breakfast. For more information, please visit their website here.
