The New York Pass, New York CityPASS & Explorer Pass Overview

On this page you will find a full comparison and review of the three major New York City passes to help you find the one you can save the most money with. The main differences between the passes are the number of attractions you can visit and the passes’ length of validity.

CityPASS

City Pass New York The New York CityPASS is the smallest and simplest pass you can buy. Using this New York City pass allows you to visit 6 attractions in 9 days. Saving you up to 42% on ticket prices, this is a great option if you are looking for a NYC pass on a budget. For more details on the CityPASS click here.

Three of the 6 tickets included in this New York CityPASS are pre selected for you: The Empire State Building, Natural History Museum and the Metropolitan Museum of Art. For the other 3 tickets you will be asked to make a selection between two options. Please note that skipping one attraction does not allow you to visit both in another group. You do not need to make these choices when you purchase the New York CityPASS either, once you are in New York you can choose one from each of the following options:

  • 9/11 Memorial & Museum – OR – Intrepid Sea, Air & Space Museum
  • Statue of Liberty & Ellis Island  OR – Circle Line Sightseeing Cruises
  • Top of The Rock – OR Guggenheim Museum
