The Meatball Shop NYC attracts tourists and locals alike and has grown fast in a short amount of time. The two owners, Daniel Holzman and Michael Chernow  opened 7 meatball shop locations within 4 years. They have become one of the most successful restaurateurs in the city with their restaurants that features a menu that is exclusively meatballs.

The idea is quite simple. Meatball Shops are located in well-styled shopping areas, has a menu that you can write on with an array of meatballs (all 100% organic), different side dishes and special homemade sauces to choose from. There are cocktails, stylish servers and a pleasant, relaxed atmosphere.

The Meatball Shop NYC has a welcoming environment. The restaurant that we went to in the West Village has a rustic vibe and gave the place a very homey atmosphere. It would definitely be an amazing place during the fall and winter because of the hearty dishes.

Ordering is pretty simple as well. The servers give you a menu that you can check off, but don’t get overwhelmed. They always ask the guests if is their first time at the restaurant. If so, they will go over the menu and will assist you if you have any problems. Basically, you choose the type of meatballs you want, sauce and sides. There are special combos as well. Once you’re finished, the servers will come by and grab your menu and you wait for your delicious meal.

So if you’re in the city, we recommend you go to one of the seven locations in New York and see what The Meatball Shop NYC has to offer. You will certainly be just as enthusiastic as we are. We visited the location in the West Village . We had the Pesto Meatballs, Spaghetti Meatballs with tomato sauce, risotto and vegetables. Conclusion?
