Yes, Dylan’s Candy Store is probably the most famous one since it’s been featured in some classic TV shows and movies. One of them is the infamous Sex and the City series. There are multiple locations but all of them share a similar experience. When you walk in, you’re greeted with a lot of colors and sweets. It’s great for families with kids.

M&M Store in NYC

Another candy store that is iconic in New York. The M&M Store in Time Square is an area that is the heart and the most recognizable part of New York City. It’s literally the part of town where it’s always busy so it makes sense to put up the gigantic M&M Store here. With multiple floors, you’re greeted with numerous M&Ms when you enter the door. It’s a chocolate-lovers dream. It’s also one of the best things to do in NYC with kids.

Economy Candy

Economy Candy is an independent New York candy store located in the Lower East Side. It’s been open since the late 1930s. It has truly become part of New York City’s DNA and is an icon. You can find all types of candies here making it one of the best places to go candy shopping in New York. Willy Wonka would be proud of this store.

Li-Lac Chocolates

Being around for just over 95 years, Li-Lac Chocolates is considered Manhattan’s oldest chocolate house. Greenwich Village is home to the original candy store but now there are multiple locations throughout Manhattan and in Brooklyn. So for all you chocolate lovers, this store is a place to check out.

Aji Ichiban

Just like restaurants, New York City is filled with different types of candy shops. If you’re looking for something different, then head over to Aji Ichiban in Chinatown. As a matter of fact, this store was first founded in Hong Kong in 1993 and opened a location in Chinatown, Manhattan. Come here for Asian sweets, snacks and here’s the kicker, dried seafood. This is definitely one of the more unique candy stores in NYC.

Ray’s Candy Store

Looking for your late-night munchies? Then you can find them at this legendary and another iconic shop, Ray’s Candy Store in Lower East Side. Opened in 1974 by owner Ray Alvarez, the store is known for its amazing snacks from candy to fried Oreos, milkshakes and so much more. Celebrities have flocked to this candy store as well.

Sugarfina NYC

Sugarfina is a popular chain of candy stores here in NYC. Although it may be a little expensive than your average candy store, it still is a great place to shop for gifts. You can create your own box and fill it up with different types of candies. Some of the products that they carry are rare and hard to find treats, international candy, rose gummy bear and os much more. They have multiple locations throughout NYC.
