The Standard Hotel New York in the Meatpacking District

The Standard is located right next to the High Line Park in the Meatpacking District, the park actually runs right underneath the hotel. The Standard is favored among celebrities like Jay-Z, Rihanna, and Lady Gaga, who have been sighted here on many occasions.

When we stayed at The Standard High Line NYC, we used Booking.com in order to benefit from their deals and discounts. Spending the night in one of the best hotels in the city had been a dream of ours for a very long time. One thing is for sure, it did not disappoint! The hotel also has a restaurant, beer garden, rooftop bar, and a partly covered plaza, making it great for any time of day.

Our tip: The plaza is a great place to have breakfast at!

A first-rate hotel in New York City with breathtaking views

In addition to the marvelous guest rooms and suites, The Standard Hotel in New York also scores points with its rooftop terrace. Due to the many glass panels you can appreciate the breathtaking views from high above the Hudson. Add a delicious cocktail and things couldn’t get any better!

Every guest room offers either a sensational view of the Hudson River (west side of Manhattan) all the way to the Statue of Liberty, or of the Manhattan skyline. The interior of the guest rooms is gorgeous: you can tell that a lot of attention has been given to quality and detail. This is reflected in the photos below showing that the hotel really does focus on luxurious rooms.
