The Butcher’s Daughter NYC

Good and Clean Eats

If you’re health conscious and looking for a place to eat clean, definitely check out The Butcher’s Daughter NYC. In New York City, they currently have two locations. One in NoLita and the other in the West Village. Their menu offers a plant-based diet, and the they dub themselves as a “vegetable slaughterhouse”, hence their name. Pretty clever, we think.

The Atmosphere

The Butcher’s Daughter NYC is definitely a trendy spot that matches the plant-based diet craze. It’s loud, it’s tight and always full, so it might not be the perfect atmosphere for everyone. Also, it’s very social media friendly. Every angle is photogenic. With that being said, New Yorkers love the café. You’ll often see a waitlist for tables (that’s a really good sign in New York). If you do not want to wait for a table, you can also order to-go. Of course, a plant-based diet restaurant isn’t complete without the restaurant being decorated with (you guessed it) plants.

Brunch at The Butcher’s Daughter NYC

Oh brunch. The time where you eat between breakfast and lunch. Sometimes, it’s even that time a little after lunch. Confusing, we know. But, thats not the point. The point is this restaurant has an amazing brunch menu. Their ingredients are 100% organic and come from local farms.

To start things off, we had the most delicious pancakes at the restaurant. It is served with scrambled eggs with spinach and wholemeal bread. We also had waffles with fresh fruit and was just as good. The juices and smoothies are highly recommended. There were classic mimosas as well, because brunch isn’t brunch without mimosas. To learn more about the menu, click here.
