We have discovered a great bar for you: the Irish Pub called O’Hara’s Restaurant & Pub just one block away from the Ground Zero, the One World Observatory, and the 9/11 Memorial Museum.

O’Hara’s is deeply routed in the Financial District and shares a story with the 9/11 attacks. Due to the large impact of the collapse of the Twin Towers a large part of the pubs in the are were destroyed. After 7 months of renovation, O’Hara’s however reopened in the Financial District = and has been one of the most popular destinations for many workers since then. When you enter the bar you will recognize many medals and batches from fire and police departments from all over the world. More than 6,000 are pinned to the walls. The famous firehouse Ladder 10 is only a few meters away.

O’Hara’s Restaurant & Pub is a really good Irish Pub with delicious draft beer. Be sure not to miss the Happy Hour, they offer draft Bud Light for just $3. The Barefoot is also highly recommended. From chicken wings to burgers  everything tastes delicious and is worth trying.

The evening view from the pub is excellent: if you go to the corner of Greenwich Street (20 meters) spot the great view of the iconic One World Trade Center. O’Hara’s Restaurant & Pub is a nice ending to a special day in NYC, where you can drink a good beer with an Irish whiskey to commemorate the victims!
