Everything in “Nancy Whiskey Pub” seems to be from another time – the bar, the furniture, the glasses – just everything. In the small bar you can choose from a small selection of whiskeys in addition to the classic beers – and relax among locals while looking at the One World Trade Center.

Besides the oldest ale house in the city called “McSorley’s Old Ale House” in the East Village (we love this spot), there is another “Oldest Bar” candidate: namely “Nancy Whiskey Pub” in Tribeca.

Everything in “Nancy Whiskey Pub” seems like it’s from another era – the bar, the decor, the glasses – just everything. But in a very authentic and nice way. The bartender is called Frankie – and each of his movements from tapping beer, clearing away bottles, polishing glasses and cleaning bar counters he has certainly done several 10,000 times – a real bar veteran just.

In addition to the classic beers, you can also choose from a small selection of whiskeys in the small bar – and be relaxed among locals while looking at the One World Trade Center.
