LIK Fine Art in Soho is an award-winning fine art photography studio that began in 2008 and is owned by master photographer Peter Lik. This gallery stands out because it’s a true survivor of NYC’s fierce art scene. In fact, it’s one of few notable galleries that remain in New York’s trendy and hip downtown Soho neighborhood. Since its inception, Peter Lik’s art gallery has become a fixture situated among the area’s top restaurants, premier shopping venues, and popular bars.

Upon entering LIK Fine Art in Soho, you’ll be met with a clean interior that features gray and white walls, which are perfect for helping viewers engage with all of the magical landscape images that grace them. You’ll find that the studio proudly emphasizes themes that surround famous NYC icons, including the genuinely awe-inspiring ‘Empire.’

LIK Fine Art provides you with an authentic New York experience like no other. The owner, Peter Lik, has spent 30 years of his life pushing the boundaries within the fine art world. He’s a self-taught pioneer and is famed for his landscape images, which were first recognized after capturing a now-infamous image of two barren trees intertwined under a blue sky in 1977. This would become the pivotal moment in his career that inspired him to dedicate his life to exploring every corner of the earth for its most photo-worthy locations.

Listed as one of New York’s best galleries, LIK Fine Art features many landscape photos with raw imagery that incorporate famous NYC landmarks such as the Empire State Building. However, Peter LIK doesn’t stop with architecture, as you’ll find a mix of photography spanning from greenery to animals in nature. When visiting this Soho art studio, be sure to check out photos such as ‘Magical City,’ ‘A Sentimental Evening,’ and ‘Firefly Nights.’

What can you do after visiting LIK Fine Art SoHo?

If you want to visit more art galleries, I recommend the Ronald Feldman Gallery, Eden Gallery or Jeffrey Deitch. If not, you can go to one of the many great restaurants in SoHo. Two of my favorites are Little Prince, Antique Garage and The Dutch, both a few blocks away.
