4 stars | PUBLIC Hotel is one of the newest and, in my opinion, most beautiful hotels in New York. It is located in the Lower East Side neighborhood, right on the corner of Nolita and the East Village, and thus has many trendy bars and restaurants to offer.
The ambience in the PUBLIC Hotel is really nice: harmonious colors, stylish interior and many plants create a very relaxed atmosphere. The hotel’s restaurant and bar are amazing and you can end the evening in the rooftop bar.

5 Stars | The Mercer Hotel is probably the most famous hotel among celebrities. You’ll most likely see a group of paparazzi waiting outside the entrance waiting to snap a picture of a famous actor or singer. It’s also a great place to stay because it’s located right in the heart of SoHo.
3 blocks away from Bleecker Street: SIXTY SoHoHotels & Accommodations in SoHoAdd to myNY added
5 Stars | The SIXTY SoHo is not just one of the many 5-star hotels on this list – it’s a real gem. The SIXTY also has to be among the most stylish hotels in the city, for sure. 4 blocks away from Bleecker Street: The Standard East VillageHotels & Accommodations in East VillageAdd to myNY added
4 Stars | The Standard East Village is the sister hotel of The Standard High Line and is equally stylish and clean. The location in the East Village is perfect for those who appreciate the food scene. What sets The Standard in the East Village apart is the beautiful design and clean decor. I’m a very big fan of that – and the view from your hotel room is unmatched!
Unlike many other hotels in this star category, the rooms are relatively spacious, and you can admire the city wonderfully through the floor-to-ceiling windows. Only one thing bugged me a bit: the closets are too small.

4 stars | The Marlton Hotel is located in the heart of Greenwich Village – just one block from Washington Square Park. It is a beautiful bohemian-style boutique hotel and feels like a little part of Paris in the middle of New York City.
The building, lobby and rooms have been lovingly restored and have a very special atmosphere.
My tip: Book one of the rooms on the upper floors. They have a balcony from which you can look out over Washington Square Park!

3 Stars | The Village House with its Victorian style also impresses with its location. The High Line Park is only a few minutes’ walk away. There is a small kitchen in each of the rooms.
