A beautiful place where you can enjoy drinks and eat delicious Italian cuisine in the lively neighborhood of Little Italy is Gelso & Grand. It is located in the heart of Little Italy right on the corner of Grand Street and Mulberry Street.
The Atmosphere and Menu
Gelso & Grand has a good mix of a dining room (with excellent pizza and Italian espresso), a bar, and a small outdoor area. The restaurant has a very stylish ambiance as well. We sat at our favorite place which is a counter right at the window so you can people watch. The crowd was diverse as well.
Be sure to order the home-made pasta and pizza that comes from a real charcoal-fired pizza oven. You can watch while they prepare it because they have an open kitchen.
