From a price point of view, Ellen’s Stardust Diner is a little bit more expensive than your typical diner. However, you get a lot for it. The music performances are included in the price. Just to give you a heads up, the bill INCLUDES the tip. For three people, our bill was almost $90. Do keep in mind, it is especially expensive in the areas around Times Square. A Tourist Magnet: Ellen’s Stardust Diner
As mentioned in the beginning, there was already a long line at 07:30 in the morning to get a seat at the famous Ellen’s Stardust Diner. It was also during the week, so just prepare to possibly wait even longer during the weekends. Our waiter told us that around 1:30 – 4:00 PM the restaurant is quiet. It get’s very crowded in the evenings. During the weekend, that wait line is always long. Ellen’s Stardust Diner is definitely one of the biggest tourist magnets in Times Square. It’s at a prime location and the concept of the diner is so special.
The food is delicious, and the vibe was good. Most of the time, Ellen’s Stardust Diner is packed. If you’re not a morning person, then we suggest visiting the diner in the afternoon. It’s loud and it’s pretty much a party in there. Overall, it was a pretty unique experience. We think one or two visits should be enough.
