This pleasant, colorful atmosphere was to be revived with the Red Rooster – and it really succeeded in creating a great atmosphere. The place does not only offer soul food but also cooking classes and live music.
The Thanksgiving menu includes among other things fried or roasted turkey breast with gravy and cornbread stuffing, mac and greens, cranberry chutney and assorted desserts. It is a family style menu and everyone on the table has to participate.

For those who want to spend Thanksgiving in a diner, I have good news: Brooklyn Diner will offer a free-range herb-roasted turkey with brioche stuffing, a noodle kugel, haricot verts almondine, cranberry chutney and giblet gravy. Dark meat is also available upon request.
