My Favorite Restaurants in Soho

    French Restaurant in SoHo
    Our Highlight

The stylish restaurant serves traditional French cuisine. Outside the menu you can also choose from the seafood bar and the delicacies from the Balthazar Bakery. The breakfast is legendary and the home-baked bread is especially convincing. By the way, you can get a lot more of it in the adjacent bakery.

    Little Prince

For the first time we noticed the French restaurant in summer: the windows can be opened completely and because it is so small, you have a window seat & table all to yourself, so to speak. Super-romantic and that’s why it immediately landed on our list of the most romantic restaurants in NYC.

  3. 03

    The Dutch Restaurant

    American Restaurant in SoHo
    Our Highlight
    Add to myNY added

Unlike the name The Dutch suggests, there are no Dutch specialties, but American cuisine. Besides salads and pasta, there is a large selection of meat and fish dishes. On weekends, there is also plenty of time for brunches – and there is a lot on the menu.

  4. 04

    The Mercer Kitchen

    American Restaurant in SoHo
    Our Highlight

The Mercer Kitchen is a restaurant located in SoHo and can be found right next to The Mercer Hotel. We recommend coming here for breakfast and lunch while you’re visiting SoHo.

  5. 05

    Antique Garage

    Other Restaurants in SoHo
    Add to myNY added

As the name suggests, the location used to be an old screwdriver garage, which was brought to life in 2003. The furnishing with antique paintings and lamps creates a relaxed, cosy atmosphere.  And then the food: the starters alone are already a blast. Try “Mezze” – these are Mediterranean little treats.

  6. 06

    Black Tap NYC

    Burger Spot in SoHo

Black Tap NYC is known for its delicious milkshakes & burgers and really worth a visit!

With Daniel Rose as chef, Paris comes to New York! The Michelin-starred restaurant Le Coucou serves French cuisine at a very high level. Located in the beautiful Soho district, it is the ideal place if you are looking for a romantic restaurant in New York.

In addition to the classy Parisian ambiance, you can watch the open kitchen crew at work. The menu includes French classics such as halibut, lobster, and fillet of beef with foie gras.

    Lupe’s East L.A. Kitchen

    Mexican Restaurant in SoHo
    Add to myNY added

Lupe’s East L.A. Kitchen is modeled after East L.A’s plentiful quaint and authentic taquerias. They are known for their seafood taco combos, with their top two being the fried flounder tacos and the shrimp chipotle tacos. The flounder is a mild-tasting, slightly sweet fish that is delicious when fried and eaten in a soft corn tortilla. You can also order the flounder tacos boiled for a healthier taco option. The seafood tacos are topped with lettuce, sour cream, and a creamy avocado sauce. Make sure you don’t leave without trying their creamy vanilla flan for dessert!

I have another great new restaurant tip for SoHo – one of my favorite parts of New York: San Carlo on Thompson Street. You will immediately feel very comfortable and welcome, it is very familiar.
