Astoria Park’s Features

Astoria Park Queens

Astoria Park Queens is located right next to the Robert F. Kennedy Bridge (RFK Bridge). Underneath the bridge is a skate park for fans of extreme sports such as BMX or skateboarding. Right next to it is a beautiful track for sprinters and runners. Take a run here during sunset and experience the sun beaming on the RFK Bridge and Hell Gate Bridge. In the summer, Astoria Pool opens up to the public. During certain hours, the city turns the public pool into swim lanes where you can do your swimming workouts. The park also has basketball and tennis courts as well.

Astoria Park Queens also has a spacious green lawn in between the RFK Bridge and Hell Gate Bridge and faces Randall’s Island. The park is dog-friendly as well. To learn more about the park, please visit their website here.
