What are the best 4th of July events in NYC?

Are you looking for the best hotels to stay at while you see the famous 4th of July fireworks in New York City? Then look no further! I’ll show you the best hotels overlooking Macy’s 4th of July fireworks on the East River!

The fireworks have historically taken place near the Brooklyn Bridge, but have also happened at the southern tip of Roosevelt Island and the United Nations building. If you’re dying to see the famous 4th of July fireworks from your hotel, or even better, from the rooftop terrace, it’s best to book two hotels and then cancel one for free when the official location on the East River is announced.

Very important: When booking your hotel, always make sure that the rooms are facing the East River. After all, this is where the 60,000+ fireworks have been ignited in recent years, making this incredible event in July so impressive.

4 stars | The Graduate Hotel in New York is a very unique place to find accommodations, mostly because of its location in the middle of the East River. This location gives the hotel a great view of Queens, as well as Manhattan, which is shown off in every window of the hotel.

And as far as the rooms themselves, they’re decorated with an exciting mixture of Americana and Roosevelt Island history. And every room comes with one of the two views I talked about above. Plus, the hotel includes extras like a fitness center, restaurants that serve delicious food, and even a rooftop bar!

All of this makes it one of the best hotels in NYC with a view, so be sure to check it out.

3 Stars | The Box House Hotel offers a special experience because their rooms are designed in an apartment-like style in order to provide you with a home-away-from-home feeling. Additionally, the decor is totally different from anything else you’d find in the area; due to this hotel actually being a converted factory!

And this hotel is located in Greenpoint, which is a Brooklyn community that includes a variety of interesting places like art galleries and music venues that are totally unique to it.

You won’t be able to find the same experiences anywhere else, but if you decide to travel further into New York, it isn’t hard to do from this location as it’s quite close to Long Island City.

5 Stars | No other hotel on this list is as close to the Brooklyn Bridge as this one. You have the most perfect view of the bridge from some of the rooms. The Seaport (hence the name) is right at this here as well, Wall Street and One World Trade Center are also within walking distance.
