Red Bull Arena can accommodate up to 25,000 fans, not including the 30 VIP lounges and 1,000 Club seats. That’s not really that big, so you can see pretty well from just about anywhere, and tickets are not that expensive. The seating chart will give you a better sense of where you might want to sit.
I personally like sections 124 – 128. But the best seats are in sections 111 – 108, because that is where the players enter the stadium and have their bench.
The stadium is located at 600 Cape May Street, Harrison, New Jersey. You can take the train to Newark Penn Station, but then you will still have a 22 minute walk to the stadium. Another option is to take the red PATH (Newark – World Trade Center). Don’t get confused: on Saturdays and Sundays, the train only runs between Newark and Journal Street. You can continue on with the blue / orange PATH (Journal Square – 33 Street (via Hoboken).
Budget a little over an hour to get from New York to New Jersey to see the New York Red Bulls. You don’t need to get to the stadium earlier than 1 hour before the game.
