The Standard East Village New York
The Standard East Village is the sister property of the The Standard High Line and is equally stylish and modern. Its East Village location is perfect for those who are gastronomically inclined, and getting to famous restaurants won’t require a long walk: the restaurant, “Narcissa” by innovative chef, John Fraser, is right next door. What characterizes the The Standard in the East Village is its beautiful design and clean lines, inside and out. I really like its sleek design and the views from the guest rooms are outstanding! Compared to many other hotels in this category, the rooms are relatively large and spacious, and the floor-to-ceiling windows allow you to enjoy fantastic views of the city. I have just one teeny tiny complaint: the closets are a just a tad small (at the The Standard High Line as well).
The Standard East Village New York – Reviews
The property consistently receives high marks from platforms such as Booking.com or TripAdvisor. The recommendation rate is also very high – and it includes one from me! We have stayed at The Standard High Line, which features a similar interior and also made it onto my list of Top 16 New York Hotels with great views. If you are looking for a stylish hotel in a great location, take a closer look at the The Standard East Village!
